Yes Gary, I know where you stand...
I will not likely buy a new one though.
Contrary to popular belief, it is the most expensive of the new hulls I listed.
Well, maybe not, I have not heard from Sutphin yet.

Driven a 26 Sutphen with eggbeaters.Fast and great in rough water.
If you find an Avanti PM me.
Sunsation and Velocity are good boats. The Velocity wont run with the others in rough water
IF you want a Sunsation talk to Charlie at Mahopac Marine here on OSO. Mention Jason and Johnny at Performance Marine. You will get one hell of a deal with them
Thanks for the input.
I have not ridden in a Y2K either...
There is a 1997 28' Sunsation here in CT that was for sale last week. I know the boat and met owner, but now I can't find it...

The Joker would be a inexpensive way to go, as well as SB.
There is a 28pantera for sale for 49000 w/ innovation motor.
maybe offer w/o power? wont be too fast though.
Yes, the 26' Joker hull is one hell of a deal.
The 28' Joker and 30' Super hulls are awesome but are more $$ than I have budgeted at this point.
A 28' Pantera would probably only go 60 with my engine, but I'd be fine with that for a year or 2. I do have everything to turn my engine into a 500 when the time is right.

Hey Pat!!

Take your time, lots of boats out there. Here's my list for you

28 pantera
28 joker
29 kryptonite
27 Activater

Not in that order though

Also, what about the Extreme???

You know how I stand on my Y2K!!!

What about the one for 42k in NJ? Pull the 496 and sell it off and pop in your motor. I know it is a stretch, but who knows!!

Thanks for the input K...

So your list would not include the 28 Velocity.
Yes, I do understand that this boat will not run the rough as well as some of the others being that it is really only 26+ ft long. It would be a significant upgrade from my 24' Superboat though since it weighs at least 1200lbs more is 3' longer.

The Extreme is not on I had thought about.
Hmmm....

That other Y2K in NJ has been sitting in salt water rotting for the past 3 seasons...

I'd go with the 28 pantera, a race set up would be a lot cheaper. Second would be the Y2K. Joker's site has the 26 advertised as being heavier than the 28, which may also be a good option.

I know, you have been inviting me to come down for 2 or 3 years now. Thank you...
