Noli, we skinned out the hull yesturday. Layup wil begin today.
Sorry for the lack of pictures. I'm definately gettiing the camera back this weekend. |
Wow Rick, that is one big hull. Who were the other guys there? I've never seen them before. Do they come in only for the big layups?
Those are Coens grandsons. They've worked there before.
So how did the layup go? Any curve balls thrown at you?:D
I stopped down yesterday to check it out . That boat has to twice the build of a Y2K. Rick had the shop jumping. Looks Goood !!
yes it looked great. There were about 6 or 7 guys doing the layup. And according to Rick, it has to be done in 1 continuous layup...no stopping overnight then continue in the morning. There is so much to know about boat building!!!
Noli, the other side is laid up. Looks awesome..
Come on Rick Like we would expect anything but perfection !!
Noli, that was one huge layup. A half a drum+ of resin per side. I need a few days to rest afer that,
I wish I could rest. I'm going in now to finish the hull on my FX10 Supervader. That will be done next week, and be for sale. |
