Default Anyone know this 24?

http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...24%27-92249672

It's looks pretty clean and well taken care of. Does anyone know this owner or have seen the boat? What true speeds could I expect with the 6.2 MPI? Can a porta-potty be put in these things?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

The guy is telling you it does upper 60's. For that price, it's a steal. A new one would run you around 20k more.
He isn't saying what motor is in it though.

A new hull is around 36K minus motor and rigging. It's a steal.

How would you compare this to a 24 Pantera, same engine (don't think Panteras come with that engine).

I know the boat and it is well kept.
I have run with Justin many times.
It was a tick or two faster than my 1997 with a 310HP/7.4MPI so yes upper 60s on GPS.

This was John Coen's personal boat. Before that guy bought it.

I have owned both and the Pantera is about 200lbs heavier.
Pantera built many 24's with small blocks.

Hey LM,

Are you looking for a 24 Super? I'm thinking about selling mine. I have a '98 w/496HO. I think you've seen it at Goose Bay. Come on down and I'll take you for a ride.

Dave
