Maybe you can give us out of towners a run down of the logistics as far as ramps, parking, etc.

I am staying at the Margarita Villas. Once you get on the Island is there any need for a car? I was thinking I could put the boat in, drop the trailer off somewhere and have my wife drive the truck to the other side. Or, should I just leave the truck and trailer on the mainland? You mentioned you have a place to park the trucks and trailers?

The dates are Sept 14 & 15th. It sounds like it is going to be an informal gathering of Superboat owners and whoever else is interested. I'm not sure how interested John Coen is about this. It would be nice if he could at least make an appearence and hang out with us. Do you know were the Kismet Inn is? That was one of the places mentioned hang out. Hopefully some of the others who sai. they planned on coming will chime in soon.

hi guys,i havent been on latley,but yes we will be out there.i think the race in ny harbor that sunday,so superboat saturday and sbi race sunday.you dont need a car on fireisland,there not allowed. the ony thing with wheels is the cops,cashregisters,and coolers
it is very imformal,just a fun thing,we can all meet at kismet,and there is a state ramp two miles away . im going to pt pleasant fri so when i get back well talk. there are some nice places around to go and we will see who is gonna come.john you there? tripps

Were is the ramp? Do they allow you to keep your rig there over night? Is it secure? No cars on Fire Island? What is that big bridge for? Can you email me your phone #.

I would probably launch at Tanner Park since I have a friend who lives near there. How far is Kismet from there? Is that the one just on the other side of the bridge going toward Fire Island?
