Bringing this one back up... how's the CC treating you after a full season?

i am sure sean will chime in here but i can say after spending a ton of time on the boat with sean this season the boat is great.....

runs extremely well in pretty much everything he has thrown at it....cruises at 65MPH and runs 79-81 up top.....

the running attitude is nothing like the old 30s....theres No hop or porpoise at any speed......the nose stays planted and doesnt head for the moon in big water......it runs flat and pretty much anyone with a heartbeat and arms could run the boat at 75 :boat:....everytime i go out in the boat it continues to impress me and others that have ridden in it.....

there are still a few setup tricks we would like to try out to see if maybe he can get a little further into the 80s and a few little odds and ends that sean may want to change but overall after about 110hrs this season i would say Thumbs up on the 30Y2k CC.....:Score-101010:

I went out with my brother for the boat races on Long Island. The water got pretty snotty but the thing just piled right through it. Sick ride. 110 hours huh. Time to put some 300s on it.

Hey guys- been really jammed last month or so, and just had an addition to the family, so things a little hectic! But overall review of the boat after 100+ hours
#1- Boat handles like its on rails- at 65, you can take your hands off the wheel and eat a pizza. Tracks nice and straight, and doesnt have the typical lean into the wind that my 24' had (probably because of the dual engines)
#2- Getting on plane and acceleration are great- boat hits 65 in a few second, bascially, you get on plane, and you are doing 50 in a blink of an eye
#3- The boat can handle the snotty stuff- George and I took to the ocean one day (me in the SB- George in a friends progression) and it turned out to be a lot nastier then we expected, and basically once we got through the inlet, it wasnt worth turning around, so we headed to Jones Beach Inlet- while we were all throttling back- I was able to maintain a pretty consistent 50 MPH in 2-4 foot rollers with that occasional larger wave
#4-Seating- the seating we finally decided on wound up being a great choice- standing with a standup console would have been a big mistake, being lower is just a much more secure feeling, and if I am in the mood, I can still stand and drive with the current set up
#5- My favorite thing about the boat is its 'convertible' nature- I want to blast around at 75 mph+ by myself...no problem. Want to take my son out at 25 mph+...no problem. But the day I got three couples, 6 kids, and about 50 beach toys, umbrellas, blankets etc on the boat. And just pulled right up to the beach, let everyone jump off the front, threw her in reverse and then anchored....that was the day I developed a true appreciation for the boat and its versatility

If I was going to change anything, I would change the windshield (go with clear and cut it down a little- something I will do with JC over the winter).

So far on props, the bravo 28's have been the best, but engines still arent turning max rpm's consistently. We are going to try some different combinations, basically my fault we hadnt done so already, everytime George would say "why dont we try xxxx tomorrow", I would say "why dont we just blast around and then get lunch"

But overall, honestly, wouldnt change a thing!

Projects for the winter will be:
Hydraulic Jackplates
LED Cupholders
