82-83mph tops, and that is plenty fast...

Pat, there are 2 tempests out there running twin 225's that I know of. Dock Blood and Specialised. Both run 82 any day of the week and 84 on a good day. As far as hull weight goes. I guessing around 700 lbs lighter then a Y2K. Where did this "out of the Box" come from. You have to give Sean time for motor break in and trying a few props. Agreed?

GEORGE YURICK 11-26-2009 10:57 PM

i say 85.....after break in and proper propeller selection.......by the way i know someone who would break th motors in in about a day to a day and a half for ya......:evilb::evilb: all while making sure all systems are GO......:drink:

The judges have voted and break inn will be allowed. I guessed low because the boat will probably be set up for the best cruise for distance not top end. Anybody who has messed with props knows you always loose in the mid range to get top end. What kind of props do Doc blood and Specialized run ? Any body know. What kind of props is this boat getting ? I vote Lightning ET,s

I figure if the boat is rigged correctly, 84-85 no problem, lets just hope the guys rigging it nows what the are doing:evilb:

I agree, thats the biggest issue with the " Small Builders " no money for the proper R @ D before the boat hits the market.

Should be an interesting 'dial in' process, but I know I am in good hands, George Y and the boys at Accurate Marine are gonna take good care of me!
