Top speed of 30'cc w/twin 250's ?
We should all start taking bets on how fast this boat will go. I'm guessing 87.
|
I am guessing 83-84
|
(2) 250HP outboards = (1) 525HP io.
82-83mph tops, and that is plenty fast... |
Will be interesting to see what effect not having the full deck will have on performance vs the change in aerodyamics, etc
|
How much lighter is the Y2KCC with twin 250s going to be vs the Y2K Sport with a single big block?
My guess is 4-500lbs. I would also guess the added hydrodynamic drag from 2 outboads vs 1 oi will off set the weight savings. If you guys will let a Velocity guy in on a pool, I'll put down a 20 for 82mph...:evilb: |

Define out of the box ; surely there will be a need to test more than 1 set of props.
Maybe 4 weeks after she first hits the water? I vote Mike holds the cash. |
