Transom trim switch
I'd like to install a transom trim switch. I installed one on my 24 and it is really handy to have.
What do you think about the two locations marked on this pic?
1. Under the hatch next to the vent.
2. On the side of the swim platform.
#1 will be less visable,
but #2 will proably be easier to rig. Looking at pic 2, I can bring the wires through the big hole and the trim pump is real close. I can get a white switch from Dana Marine that won't be real noticable.

Also, the swim platform is probably easier to get to for using the switch, but it'd be nice to hide it by the vent, imo.
Thats gotta be a sharp lookin Y2K, love the black.

Now that I think about it, location #1 may not work. When the hatch is open, that gap reduces to the point where I won't be able to get my fingers in there. Also the spot where I would have to drill is close to the deck/hull joint, not sure if I want to mess with that area.
I think I'll probably go with #2 with a white switch.
