Default dash redo

thinking about a dash redo on the y2k. has anyone converted to a dash panel? how does one go about doing that with the existing construction of the dash?

Take a look in the Superbabi thread. The dash on that boat was redone when Gary repowered. He had it reglassed. I would think a panel would work though too.

in addition to Superbabi, here are what others have done.


if you have holes on the dash and would like to fiberglass cover the holes to add strength:

finish off by painting with the same gelcoat colour





...or as another option, get custom plates made to add some bling and named swtiches. You will need to create a tenplate to have the plate have a perfect fit.
Then select a color for the plate of your choosing...along witht the colour of the bezels and the dials...would look neat:
