Guys what speeds would you expect from a twin 2.5 merc outboards in a 30' tempest?

ya does anyone know the boat? And where is the well? I figure its a conversion?

Not a conversion , it's correct for the year . Should run in the 80 MPH range . I've got a friend of mine interested in the boat and thats how I knew about it

Nice Tempest. Should run upper 70's, maybe low 80s.. I'm not sure. But I think the 2001 250 Mercs had some issues. I might be wrong. Maybe George will chine in. 20K seems like a steal though.
