If your going to come on a thread and say NEW VERSION and people are asking whats changed and your response is just going to be it's been updated then you are opening yourself up . If your were not willing to discuss changes then you shouldn't be blasting NEW VERSION .. People on here follow these builds and want to see progress but no one wants to be Bull $hitted . Not saying you were ! But Your the one advertising it ...

I understand where you're coming from, but bashing the Coen's wont get ya anywhere.
When the boat gets to our shop, I'm happy to take all the pictures of the bottom you want. I'm not going to bother the Coen's asking for specific pictures of the bottom though. They are busy enough getting her finished up!
Until then, everyone sit tight. She's going to be an awesome build!

Johnny I put up all my post with a smile on my face and a laugh. If you'll remember that and know that I'm just a comedian and joke and cut up all the time you'll be fine. I hope you understand what I'm saying when I say you should ask for proof when your spending the kind of money you are. And yes if your on a thread and you say it goes 105 you better have pic's or video to back it up. After all its not like it's going to be a sleeper or anything. I do wish someone would put a top on one and race in super V light..

All good brother!
105 might be a little optimistic...but we'll see
Although Im pretty sure that no matter what with Class 5 being at 75....its going to be a 75mph boat haha

I agree with the Super V light, especially in big water

Gary,
As I said, I'm not bothering them to get pictures. Ive actually spoken to Rick about the boat, he's excited to see how it will turn out as well. We have sufficient pictures to see the progress we want to see. Its going to be a great build, when the boat arrives Ill take alllllll the pictures you or anyone else wants. As for right now, I wont be posting any more updates. I'm a little surprised by the negativity towards it. I've PM'd a few members with my email address, when it comes Ill take whatever pictures they want. I guess this is the "new" OSO.

Johnny,
I do understand what your saying, all cool. But you know what I mean, when Rick was there, and he the started the Superbabi build, Superboat was off the Charts with views because the way Rick Detailed every inch of the build with photos and how it all came together as a boat builder. Ahhhhh the good old days.
Best of luck with the rigging and your motor.
Gary

I feel bad that your going to stop posting updates because of me . I think your a great person and I don't feel like you were trying to mislead anyone and you were only relaying information you had been given . I've been talking to you since before the first ounce of gelcoat was sprayed and I said it then and I'll say it again , Be Careful ! That goes for having a boat built at Superboat , Outerlimits ,Joker or any other boat builder .. If they made a change to the hull that you know for sure really happened well that is great but hull changes take a lot of time and money . I'll bet they showed you an 06 or earlier hull and now yours looks different and their saying they changed it, well they didn't . Rick made the changes to the 07 and newer and I'm sure if you look closely you'll see that my hull bottom and the one your having built are identical .
As far as the blueprinting , fresh out of the mold with no deck is the best time to flip one over and get to work however it usually takes a good solid week to do . Cost around 3-5K and requires the boat to be ground , filled and re gel coated . Then the gel coat would have to be block sanded , wet sanded and buffed .
So do you really know for sure that all this was done ? Thats why I said I hope you got pictures to prove you got what you paid for .
One last thing , If the boat was upside down it would have been a great time to paint the orange on the bottom . would have been a lot easier ... This was Rick doing the bottom on Suberbabi

Why the Hate? would you just sell your boat and go the hell away, your the most annoying person I have ever seen on this board and I'm member number 46, a charter member, you never bring anything constructive, you obviously hate the Coen's I don't understand why you want to own one of their boats. Please concentrate on building your own boat, bring it to the racecourse so I can beat you in an old bottom SUPERBOAT circa 2001. If Rick has lots of time to take and share pictures of his builds great, I don't see any build pictures on the Cigarette site. If Johnny and Jason are satisfied customers who are you to create all this bull ****. Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish
