Sounds like Gary's boat. I was considering it before I bought mine.

T-Mone, a Maximus 5 blade will bring your slip down but will cut some speed too.

Bravo's are the fastest, but they slip a lot in the lower and mid range. When I plane with a bravo, as soon as I hit 3K RPMs you can hear and feel the prop slip. I don't experience the same thing with a Maximus, it just steadily pulls.

My setup is a little different though. I have ITS.

Also Dave i might add my boat was fastest w a p5 hydro it was 2 mph faster than a bravo w a stock xr drive. Seems my hull likes a stern lift prop. The bravo sunk the ass an held bow up wasnt crazy about it, w the p5 boat ran nice an level.

Fingers crossed we get a break in rain sunday! -2 is on boat w a 32 maximus 15 5/8 w short diff. prop center is 1 1/2 below bottom w this set up

Good luck. I'm curious how the -2 is going to work. Maybe Fastedy will chime in. Pretty sure he's tried just about everything and he told me that a shorty didn't work on his boat.

Dave ill let u know tmw hopefully. Everyone told me a p5 would not work either an mine ran faster a so level w it compared to the bravo. I also spin it rt hand w no issue.
