Happy holidays ! Im glad to finally see a post in here . You read my mind , lets plan early this year and do it in the warm weather !
I think we should do a run , maybe jones inlet to fire island inlet , barbacue and overnite at demacrate point and than inside run the next day ! We have some great boating spots on long Island lets take advantage of it !!

Still Crazy will be there with the 21 if my work schedule will accomodate it. Let's also get some more out of state SB owners to participate. The tow across the bridges and Cross Bronx makes my !@#$ pucker. but it is easier if several owners drive together (missery loves company?)

When were you guys thinking abought? Would it be a good idea to tie it in with Charlies Run or do our own thing eariler in the season. If possible keep it away from the APBA race dates, I will be racing and John and John Jr. are building another F1 as we speak.

hows it going ? did you sell your boat ? is john going to race ? and no i didnt get an email ( [email protected] ) Charlies run has gotten really big so i think it would be best to avoid a joint venture , it is also always in the cold season ( hence the name hot toddy) I think we could have a lot more fun in the hot weather ( bikinis and cold beer im thinking ) My engine is still at MRD and im hoping john will fix a few cosmetic problems . I am still considering p4 but i want to see how she runs with the new power. I hope you can make a reunion, we will definetely avoid apba and superboat race dates , give me a call next time you are in ny , and good luck in 03 .

I failed to make last years event , Due to some mech.problems and a crappie tow vech But this year things are not going to keep me away. So post some dates and let me know when and I/ll be there. I have a SUPERBOAT banner we can display. At the Event. So count me In.....:D :D :D

Yea, I bought that for my wife this year. The W8 is nice. It's pretty much the same as the Audi A8. I bought the VW because it is the basically the same as the Audi, but they don't get stolen as often.

Yep, basically same. The "stolen" part reminds me that my first A8 (at the time called "V8") was stolen. Dropped off a friend at his hotel, came in for a quick drink to see him off, 30 minutes later, I went berserk in the parking lot ...

The boat you're referring to is for sale at Falcon High Performance Marine in Hampton Bays...

It has a Pro Charged 500HP and was painted right at Falcon.

The boat is FAST !

You Long Island guys need to spread the word about the reunion. It looks like that is where most of the Superboats are. There must be a lot of owners up there that do not have computers or know about OSO. I only know of three Superboats in Maryland, Gassticks, Bob out in Ocean City and me.

I know his name is Steve...not much help I guess. I only see him when we're both down at Falcon taking the boats out.

I think he has an XR drive but I'm not sure.

I know the boats for sale so maybe a call out there might help.

You are right, we need to spread the word.When we decide on a date maybe I can post info in the local marine stores, lots of them on the island .How about it tripps ? We could split the island. I would be willing to maybe do a small add in newsday .I also think we should not limit it to superboats, what do you guys think? Maybe a meeting at the Gull for working on plans? You in Tripps? It will be spring soon!!

Still working on the funky electronic set up ? Im still playing with ecu set up , my engine will be at the dyno soon .I wish i coulda went with you to see the 30y2k at falcon , I heard it was a fast boat , did you hear any numbers on it ? how much hp, how fast , prop , what were they asking?

Jcap: Yep, after having been thoroughly confused, I listened to my heart and went with the Kryptonite. HP525 and all the goodies. Kirk loves the funky electronics idea (all Gaffrig Smartcraft, and I'll add a computer that monitors the CAN-bus), and we are doing it. Kirk being 10 minutes from where I live was a great factor. And him being a very nice guy.

Y2K30 @ Falcon: Looks good. HP500 with a Procharger. I believe $79K or thereabouts. No numbers were given. Guess it all depends on how much boost one dares :)

best of luck , cant wait to see it ! Kurt is a great guy ! And we all know John is a little rough around the edges ! Its a shame , he could sell alot more boats. Well maybe you can meet with us when we have our planing meeting (for" SUPERFEST 2003 "Im gonna copywrite that !!), I wanna hear your computer set up . Someone will post the info when we work it out.

Jcap: When is your planning meet? I'll be here this week and next. Off to Europe on 2/23 . This Monday would be just divvy. Superfest 2003 (c) sounds great. I recommend we go with it.
