Default Super Stereos

Hey Guys,

Patrick and Dutrasystem asked me about the way my speakers and stereo were installed in my boat so here a few pics. I don't know if it was installed when the boat was new or by the previous owner.

Here's the stereo, it was a cheesy AM/FM cass. I replaced it with a AM/FM CD. I've always used automotive stereos in my boats and not had any problems.

Also, notice my foot insert that I installed.

Right front speaker. They are 6" round speakers of questionable quality. I plan on replacing them. You can access this area if you take out the panels in the cabin.

Hey Tripps,

I'm waiting for my work schedule to be posted. I started a new job and they do things a little different than my last job. I actually have to work now.

Hey Dave,
I mounted my stereo in the same place as yours. It's a little tough to see, good thing I bought with a remote.
I mounted my speakers a little higher, on the port side I hit the wire way, but it worked out OK.
I installed my foot cutout too. I used a saws-all to cut the hole. My Dad did the glass work for me, I hate working with glass.
I'm done adding to the boat for this year, burned out. I still have trailer work to do before Superfest.
Hope you make it up Dave!
Happy Boating!
