Yeah,

I'm not real versed on inboard engines, in the Bahamas almost everybody runs outboards. Someone sujested the 6.2 because it was a small block, verses big block power. Are small blocks more reliable? Efficient? I want a decent size boat to handle gulfstream crossings, but also reliable & not a total gas hog- gas is $4.25 a gallon here.

What kind of speed do you think you would have with twin verados?? Don't inboard boats ride better, with the engine weight in the boat??

Go with the standard 496 if thats the case. Much more ecomical then an outboard.Or the 496 HO's for alittle more speed.

There is a white and green one(Godspeed), down here in Delray, the owner of a boat storage facility has it, but all I have seen him do is wash it

Austin, I have to agree with Rick - my single 496 Mag HO delivers nearly 3 mpg!!!! That's HUGE compared to many go-fasts, and I can stay right beside those same boats in big water doing mid 70's...... gotta love Superboat, I do

Do you have a 30'? It so how does she handle the rough stuff, how much better than the 24' that is. My girl doesn't what to cross the gulfsteam in the 24' anymore!!

Huge difference between any 24' and 30' as far as rough water performance.
