I thought he told me he had same setback as me ( & soon FAST(X?)). July 10th(SUPERFOUNTAINBASHFEST) looks like a go. Just went out. Caught my buddy at home(on the bay) to take a quick spin & snap a few pics.(*note color coordinated hooded sweatshirt)

Hey Superbash,
Is the inside of your fairing painted? Or does it have the vinyl BS like mine? Dave M |
Re: new to forum
Hey Dave,
When they were putting the screen on, I was like "whats with that black sticky crap?" They said that was the finishing material. I woulda rather just kept it the "molded in" black. Gonna peel it off one day. |
Re: new to forum
Mines peeling off an look like ****. That's been on my to do list for a while. Did you see them put the fairing on? It just screws in using the screws from the snaps? And a little caulk around the seam?
Well gotta go get the boat ready for the weekend. The weather here look great today and tomorrow. High 70's and sunny. Dave M. |

Hey Dave
YES to all 3. Do you have trim indicators? I'm having a tuff time trying to really use the tabs in the ruff to my advantage. I think they would help. FAST(XXX) Before I forget, I don't know if you have allready, an aluminum angle 3x3x3/8 to stiffen the inside of the transom. A "must" with the setback. Pic 2- "SUPERCAT" admiring the Trophy's box. |
Re: new to forum
I've got a hydrolic jackplate. It sets the motor back approx 4 inches. Hummm what about bracket attached to the jackplate or the jackplate attached to the bracket??? Oh **** then Ill need a longer trailer!!!

Re: new to forum
Hay SUPERBASH I hope you weren't clam digging by the looks of the skeg! Oh yeah...nice *****! With the higher transom the motorwell could double as live-well!

Re: new to forum

Re: new to forum
Yes Oh-Z.
I "clam dig" once in awhile. Fortunately, I haven't come up with any shopping carts or engine blocks yet. Hydraulic jack plate, huh? Fancy Shmancy (must be a "rich boy", hehe). |

Hey Superbash,
I have Gaffrig mechanical indicators. I would not want to be without them. |
