Default Tips on installing Extreme Marine platform on 24 SB

Hey guys I'm a new Superboat owner and I'm installing a swim platform this week. Has anyone else put one of these on before and if so what should I watch out for. By the way I bought GRH's boat from up around Albany.
Thanks in advance,
Shawn

I Have not, But I like the way they look on the SBs. I was thinking about making that mod myself. There are couple guys on here that have them. They'll be around shortly. Good luck with your 24 ...

Hi 25Daytona,
Congratulations on your purchase! That is a beautiful boat.
I installed one on my boat last year...
You will need two helpers to locate the platform while you drill the transom.
Also, I did not use the lag bolts that Larry sent with the platform. I though bolted the top and used shorter lags for the bottom. Use lots of 5200 so no water gets in.
Good luck, great addition...
