if tripps' stuff is sold, i've got drives, gimbles and trans for sale in riverhead...still on the boat, in great shape, never painted...only have a little bit of skeg damage.
mine were originally behind 420s and spent about 20 hours behind 600hp 540ci..most of it idling though

If it was a rivetted on plate to start with.....& the boat has been re-painted...its been removed I'd say. You ain't painting over a raised plate without it being noticeable.

jcap,sorry i wasn't thinking,i might have the cure for your drive problem!! sternpower makes a nice unbreakable drive that with there adaptor moun ts up to a bravo gimble,the drive is very similar to a merc speedy 3. i have one if you want to try it,just buy the adaptor. i dont know there website but i'll look around call me 917 468 3607 tripps
