Ok Guys Superbabi Was On The Go Today Hard And Fast. Merc Rep. In Town New Custom Cut 5 Blade 27" At 82.7 Mph. Still Think In The Rough 2' Will Hit 84 Mph. Water Was Dead Calm. The Fx-10 Bottom Job Has This Bow "running High " No Bow Lift Problems.!!!!!! As Always Thanks For All Your Support Rick. Rick Will Keep Superboat Alive And Strong For Years To Come!!! So, it is safe to assume the 600 is making full power?
Gary, the special Merc. prop, is that staying on Babi?
If not, you may want to consider the Hydro P5X.
A fellow over on the Pantera Forum is raving about the performance on his 24' Pantera. If I had the $$, I'd have one on order.
Also, I believe this is the prop Jcap runs and Krak tested...
I'm glad to hear things are better in Superboat land!

I figure slip is 8 %. 4800#s plus two guys and fuel = 5800#s. Gal of gas is 10#s right?

If the engine was spinning 5200rpm the slip would be 8-9%. Even at 5400rpm the slip #s would be great!
Was a drive spacer added? or is that 5 blade prop that much better than the Bravo 1?
Gas weighs about 6lbs per gallon...
