34'' SUPERBOAT Center Console !!!!

3 Attachment(s)
These are the first pictures of the new 34'' Superboat center console. The pictures you are seeing are the plug, which will be used to make the new deck mold. They should be in production by early spring. It will have a full cabin liner. And as you can see, the cabin is quite a bit larger then a cuddy. To make boarding and unloading easier, there are steps leading from the cockpit sole to the deck. There is also a bench seat with storage adjacent of the steps that can be used to store fenders and ropes, or whatever.
Fuel capacity will be in the area of 300 gals. Since this is a lightweight composit hull, we're hoping that with a pair of 300 hp Yamahas, she''ll do in the ballpark of 75 mph.
I''ll keep the progress pictures coming.

Rick

I was inside it a month or so ago! Quite a bir of freeboard! I'm curious what the estimated weight will be?

Re: 34'' SUPERBOAT Center Console !!!!

I believe it's around 4500 lbs. It's a lightweight hull with foam coring in the sides and balsa coring from the chine down. Pretty light for a 34'.

You can get the 300hp yammis with a 6 year warrantee. Thats 1 of the reasons.

noli 01-30-2008 07:28 AM

Rick, would two Yamaha 350's work on the 34CC?

noli 01-30-2008 07:59 AM

Just looked at the pics closer, I think that for this to really cater to the fishing guys, it would have to be a full center console with no cabin...my thoughts only :D

LEOPAJM 01-30-2008 08:26 AM

z.zuperboat 01-30-2008 09:49 AM

Spoke to Jc this morning. He said that he has to sell a few more 30CCs before the 34CC is rolled out...who among us is next on the 30CC waiting list?

noli 01-30-2008 02:15 PM

I was going for the 34CC but that will take "years" according to Jc. So I am working on a 30CC deal. I guess I am next on the list then...

I remember the 34 CC when our boat was being built, that would be one huge bad azz big CC. Glad to hear your gonna pull the trigger on Y2K CC, your gonna love that hull !!! Any thoughts on the single of twins ???:D

noli 01-30-2008 02:31 PM

being that I have a nine year old, 15, and 18 I need quiet motors...twin Verados. Haven't decided if twin 250 | 275 | 300.
What are your thoughts on a good engine combo?

noli, I am a total comitted speed freak, so if you ask me the more HP the better, never know when you have to get home fast !!!!! I'm sure Rick and the outboard guys will hook you up.

noli 01-30-2008 03:25 PM

Thanks for the info. I do agree that in boating you always need extra power. Let's work on the 300's then...

I would like:

Mercury DTS
Mercury SmartCraft
150+ gals of fuel
RayMarine Chart Plotter

Yikes, I have no more money left :(

noli 01-30-2008 03:34 PM

Plus if Rick ever completes the 34CC, we can pull out the 300's from the 30CC and put them on the 34CC yeahhh!

boating37 01-30-2008 03:59 PM

You might want to look at the new Verado that Merc racing is going to have at the show in Miami a 350 Verado.....

Definately!! well into the 90's. The last full deck 34 that was outboards weighed 4500 lbs. . And this is alot lighter.

FX10 02-04-2008 04:18 PM

Naaaaa. But I ccan't wait to finish that 34. That is such a sweet boat. I think it might sell more then the Y2KCC.

z.zuperboat 03-04-2008 12:42 PM

OK OK whos getting the 34 C/C ?? I saw the outboard mold insert out yesterday !! I myself would bolt on a bracket for better bow lift and more cotpit room.

Is someone buying the 34' CC ??? hmmmmmmmmm, I wonder who ??:D

FX10 03-14-2008 06:14 PM

Nope, Noli is getting the full deck model. We still have to make a liner plug(mold) and finish the plug for the deck. iit's close though.

damdonzi 02-04-2009 08:48 PM

Did this ever go anywhere?

noli 07-27-2010 07:39 AM

Rick, pleez ask JC what kind'a cash is needed to complete the 34CC

Would an order for a 34CC get this bad boy completed?

as you said the plug for the deck is ready, just need a mold.

And ya also need a liner.....noli

Superbabi 07-27-2010 01:56 PM
