WOW! Boat looks great, and is equipped just right! Can't wait to hear the results, after you get the motor in. Good luck!

I'm Jealous! I just started talking with JC on a new Y2K. So far, my fiance' is good with it, financing is looking good and I'm cleaning up the Checkmate to sell. Can't wait until I see mine sitting on the trailer. Congrats on yours!! I have a lot of questions regarding options and JC has been very gracious in answering every one. What's the difference between a race hull and what comes standard? Is the semi-F-16 wind deflectors on yours standard or optional? If optional, anyone know where there's a picture of a straight stock boat? Thanks in advance.

Hey whats up.
have you been to Superboatonline.com? The race hull is cored with foam and balsa wood on the deck and sides. This gives it much more strength and also a couple hundred pound lighter JC says. Yes, the canopies on mine are standard. Havn't driven mine yet but out here on the west ist the best bang for the buck by far.

Tom,

Just spoke with JC. Since I'm going with the 496 HO (no plans for a bigger engine....yet,) He said I have no need to go with the race hull. I agree since I'm already stretching my boat budget (and fiances' tolerance ). Hummm... maybe a Procharger later on.. or maybe....... Ok, I need to focus on getting the boat built! JC said mine would look identical to yours... What a great looking boat!
