Does the early 80's 24 superboat have the same cabin setup as new ones? i.e. facing bench seats, porti potti, v-berth.

Yes it does,My first 24 was a 1980.As they say the house is the same just the furniture has been updated.

So you do step in instead of crawl?

also does anybody know of anyone who has installed a stainless marine or armstrong swim platform type bracket on a 24?

OK...the 70's style didn't have a "hatch"...just a cabin door. Yes... you had to "crawl" thru it. Mine isn't exactly a "walk thru" either . ZUPERBOAT says the cabin layout is still the same...just the entrance has been opened up.
