The faster you go the more HP per you will need. The formula is not linear...
If you want to go 100mph, and your boat goes 72 with 425HP, how much HP do you need? (100/72)^2 X 425 = 820

Gary, it is tough to say without testing your boat.

72mph with 425HP, so with 750HP, maybe 96mph???

If you run a 30"pitch prop at 4000 engine rpm, your speed should be around 65mph.

Analog Will Not Work With New System As It Does With 496 & 525 Hp. Merc. Tech Will Be In Superboat To Dial In All Aspects Of The New 6oo's Working System. Also At Start Up For Prop Selection. As I Said Bad News..........but In The End Great News !!!!

From what John told me. SmartCraft makes individual guages that will go into every guage opening on the dash. Thank god !!! In my opinion, I think the Merc Racing Rep is coming down out of curiousity. He wants to see how fast a 600 will go in a 30' boat. I think he's going to be in for a surprise
