If you go sportmasters talk to the factory or dealer to see if they will polish them. I asked the Cig guy what it took. He says he can do 2 drives in 4 hours.

The only time I have seen someone lose speed with sportmasters is when they retrofit a bravo and can't get the X dimension right. Cig is putting them on all their new 525s and 600s. They aren't doing that because they are slower.

There were tons of boats at Miami with ITS. I think most folks like the way it cleans up the back of the transom with the integrated steering. I sure like it, especially in a staggered implementation.

OK TO LATE FOR MERC. ITS. TRANSOM WOULD HAVE TO BE RE GLASSED..........NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. HOWEVER WE CAN USE WHAT TOM IS USING. THE 12" STELLING SET BACK WITH THE HD EXTERNAL STEERING I HAVE ALREADY. ALL IT TAKES IS $$$$$$$$$$. LETS SEE ?????

How about a 1200HP Sterling and a dry sump VI drive.
You need Spring to come before you don't have any more $$ to put gas in Babi...

Go with the stellings and then you can put my dyno unit on it and see exactally how much HP and TQ those 600sci motors are really putting out. With the stellings you can use the IMCO steering ears on the side and rams and route the steering hoses into the side of the box for a 'clean' install.
