Lots of nice places to hang in the CT River: Essex Harbor or Haddam Island would be 1 and 2 on my list. Just would depend how far up the river you fellows want to travel...

The last time i went up the river i got 10 years!!! i'm only kidding,but its nice senery,but 5 miles up looks the same as 20 miles up!! lets play in the sound?? enjoy each others boats,save gas $ for the bar tripps

The bar next door to SPI is better than the internal bars...
HOWEVER..if we (and kraks video) were the main event...I'm sure our numbers($$$) could pull their weight.
Want me to look into a private room/video capabilities/cash bar?..like a business meeting?

Pat, can you think of anywhere else with ample dockage, within a few miles up river? All I can think of is harbor park....They love out kind...but it's a haul..
