Also,

Old is OK - limited budget. If I could afford new, I'd contact Richie and get it done! I believe it's one of the finest under 30's out there - and fast too!

My 30' is still for sale for about another month.... If it doesn't sell by then...I am gooing to send it to the detail shop of a buddy of mine...

The new DANA billet tabs are just now on... along with all new pop up cleats... :drink:

I may soon be selling a 1979 black 20 foot super pacer.. has dual external steering, trim tabs, foot trim ,foot throttle,MDS drive,468Chevy motor,nordskog speedo,polished lower unit,stainless cleaver prop,Boat is real fast. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi I have a 1990 26' w/twin 2.5/200 And completely rebuilt powerheads rebuilt with minor mods by jay smith,with only 25 hours ! Lathem steering ,Cle cases and k planes ,Complete new inteior and gauges,make offer. :evilb:

hello thumper, i was looking through a boat trader mag today and ran across this one, in muskegon, michigan area, 1987 26ft sutphen twin 200hp merc obs, racing lower units k-planes, eagle trailer $14.900, 231-788-1984 i was looking for a 26 sutphen, or a 26 hustler, or a single 28ft pantera, back in 2001, i like all three , ended up buying a 28ft twin pantera, big power, its for sale in the classifieds on this site, pantera, freshwateronly90+mph, good luck

I was never able to pull-off the 26 Rich & I had planned...life got in the way.. :mad:

Still have my 32 Velocity raceboat that I'm trying to move..think I'm goin' 2-wheels for awhile...this stuff has worn me out... :rolleyes:

I haven't spoken to Rich since the NY Race..so no news from me...

Maybe you should come into an owners forum w/ such an attitude. If you would have asked a bit nicer, you would have seen dozens of cool pics.
BTW, sutphen has been around a long time and is not a cookie cutter massed produced boat.

With all the web surf tools today one would wonder why one needs to ask what a "Sutphen" is? or maybe they could type that name in any of the boat listing sites available today?
The person that asked that question must be extremely new to the high performance boats?
I suggest they read about these beloved boats at www.sutphenpowerboats.com or talk to Richie or Chris at the factory. It is true Sutphen is not "out there" today, as once they were, but they surely still have a devoted following. They surely had the same status as Cigarette in the history of offshore power boats.
