Rich's shop is about ten minutes from Lake Hopatcong in a small business park at 175 Stanhope Sparta Rd (Rt605) Andover, NJ 07821-4901. (Just south of Maple Pl on the map) His shop has a parking area and two large bays under one roof. He never mentioned that Image was there before but I'll ask.

Re: Sutphen Models
Does sutphen make anything under 20 ft? I live on Lake Hopatcong and knew Sam Sutphen when he owned Porspect Point Boats. I liked Ritchiy's first 18 Ft donzi knockoff but they are tough to find used.

No, the 18' and 17' are no longer made. One mold was sold off to Concept Boats and last seen rotting in a field and the other was stolen from Richie Jr's storage and never seen again. If that's what you are looking for, once in awhile one pops up for sale. Even if the boat is in bad shape you could buy one and have Richie refurb and repower it. The stuff I've seen him do with glass is amazing. There was that blue 17' with OMC for sale in Landing and then the last I saw it was in a lot on the River Styx Rd.
You may want to touch base with Richie to let him know what you're looking for.
All Sutphens were all original designs and not splashes of anything although there's no mistaking the Aronow influence. I recall Richie telling me that the 20' came about as a direct result of when Cigarette released their 20'. Cigarette was the pinacle of the industry at that time and everyone was influenced by them.
He still has his demo 20' for sale. Good luck
