I realize this is an old post but wanted to set the record straight.
Thats not the Ben sisti boat its is the boat from next to Ocean performance. The Ben Sist boat was my brothers boat that broke free and was totaled in old lyme CT.
Ironically the next day when we were pulling it off the rocks it was Ben sistis grand son who gave us a hand.
That was a great boat. My friend owned it before my brother and we spent many good years on her.
Tore me up to see her all smashed to pieces.
We tried for 4 hours in the middle of the night to pull her off that damn sea wall with waves breaking over our heads.
Then the marina who stored her didn't pickle the motors properly. We had planned to rebuild her but the hull was too far gone and 1 of the motors was spanked.

Strike how are you.Not to get off topic but how would you compare the Cig-to the Sutphen-performance wise(I had the 30 that was made right before Great Adventure )and am currently looking for a larger staggered hull 39 feet or over. Thanks Joe.(Email me if you wish)

Never was in a 39 Sutphen.
Sutphens are very well built, probably one of the best.
Cigarette builds great boats...Resale is much better.
As for rough water, I would guess their close.
You can't go wrong with either make.

I owned 2 sport pacer jets, the first one a baby blue with a 454 back in high school with the name WILD WITCH in prisem decals. Then there was DIRTY DEEDS another sport pacer with an LS6 I restored in the early eighties, another sport pacer is owned by my friend Scott Madsen owner of a corvette resto shop and is now in vermont with his family shooting a rooster tail or skiing on some pristine lake and then there is another pacer sold at a local bar for 500 I would have purchased but one of my friends scooped her up for his son. There are 2 gran sports at Morris County Marine and then there is my 26. My 8 month old son went for his first ride today with not one whimper or diaper change ( he thought he was in omas benz! ) Thanx Ted
