The name of the dealer was Jim Goodrich, AKA "Offshore Speed & Ski",in Stonington. It was Sutphen heaven at one point. I wonder where the 20ft'r with the twin 2.4's went?

Here in connecticut with a 1988 -2 300 hp mercs- put in the river for its maisden voyage last week- it is awsome. Boat was never rigged since new in 88 and I just completed it recently. Expect to hit in the 90mph range when finally tweaked out. Boat is a 32 ft. with a stainless marine bracket.

We bought a 1988 sutphen 33 ft outrageous from Jimmy Goodrich - He was quite a character. He could walk the boat on its engines just like a motorcycle doing a wheelyWe have over 70,000 miles on it and are switching over to diesels

Back to NY, 1972 Sutphen Gran Sport started out on Lake George NY in the early 1970's, then Lake Mead NV until 2005, and recently now home on Moriches Bay LI NY. Still running fast, always a head turner.

"Scoundrel" is a 34(?) out of NJ with big blower motors. He ran with us on the Key West Poker Run from Gilberts to Sunshine Key and it moves!

Boy scoundrel looks good!!
I have had a couple of requests as of late for pics and progress of the old Miss Maxon (33' outrageous) which Wstultz and myself are putting together in Texas. Been steady working on the motors and drives (staggered big blocks and speedmaster2's) since i got her. The interior doesnt need much, 3 man bolster and no cabin and depending on how fast she is, is how much i will spend on paint but she is currently "Barney and bumble bee tuna colored" thats right purple and black and yellow complete with powder coated purple drives AND motors. Dyno this week and rebuilt drives are going on this weekend maybe. Here are the pics, let me know if anyone has any old ones of it i would LOVE to have them.
