Default History video of Sutphen racing

HORBA has just posted a new video of the '78 and '79 racing season and there are some great segments of a 30 foot Sutphen racing back in the days.

Go to the member's only area and look in the video section.

There is a video on there called the Plymouth 160, that has the very first 30 foot Sutphen ever made....it is a race boat called INFERNO and it wins the race....driven by Stan Pike and throttled by Gene Whipp.

A friend of mine had "Gypsy Man" for about 15 years, he renamed it "Execution Express" with a grim reaper on the side, had big hp small blocks in it. He just sold the boat this year. I looked at it a couple of years ago, it needed a lot of work but still appeared solid as a rock, the hull still shined like new. Nice boat. He moved up to a 44' MTI with twin turbines!
