I'll give him a call.
Probably wont happen but I'll look into it.
Its a sweet boat for sure, but theres some nice stuff on the east coast all of a sudden and the prices seem to be dropping by the day. especially the bigger stuff.
I think you sold that boat just at the right time.
Where is he located in Cali.
My friend is in Huntington beach.
He owns recreation unlimited.
They rent dirtbikes, Jetskis, sand rails etc.

I believe they do make single screws all the way up if thats how you want them rigged.
I believe I have seen at least 30's with singles or maybe it was 26's.
Why would you want one though?
Twins to me is a plus so if you hurt one you can still limp back home.
nothing sucks worse than getting towed back in with a performance boat. BlahHH
Dave ,As for the RR its a nice boat no doubt. It just sucks its on the west coast. Its like burning $1800.00 just to get it here.
Thats cash you could be putting towards gear upgrades etc.
I think maybe you need to visit simsbury soon.LOL

Dave I spoke to masis.
He seems like nice guy.
Your right though he doesn't grasp the Idea of boating.
He says he only wants to get back everything he paid for it and all his associated costs.
Don't we all.LOL
He wants what he aid pplus cost of having it detailed $1000.00 etc.
basically he was up to your advertised price + 3000 by the time we got off the phone.

Are twins really that much worse on the same sized boat??
I would think you need the same BTU from your fuel to move the same size boat at the same speed so If it were a single youd be into it just that much more making it realatively the same?

hey guys...
like all performance boats, pick a realistic goal....
yep, the 26 runs great in the rough stuff (within reason), and a spare motor incase of a konk is reassuring...
as far as the fuel, i can run 67 miles to Block Island, putt-putt around, and make the run back on about 60 gallons...cruising at 45-48..that's about 2mpg on twin SBC's...
no, it's not the fastest, but the ride through "the race" is NO issue, nor are ferry wakes or swells in Block I. Sound (that's the Atlantic)...
it ain't a 41 apache, but if i break something, i'm comfortable knowing i won't break the bank getting back in the water in a day or two...
again, pick realistic goals...come on, it still looks cool idling through a flock of sailboats....and on plane, not many people are going to get a good look anyhow..
just a mid-week ramble............
