Well tomorrow a Tsunami will be hitting Old Saybrook CT.:D:D Not a real one, but one kick a** 34 Sutphen race boat!! My Dad is in MD right now with the boat behind the truck waiting to pull it back tomorrow morning. I have yet to see the boat in person, but I hear its awesome, especially with the dry exhaust!:D I will have lots of pics next weekend by I should be going home to run it before it gets tucked away for the winter. We are glad to be back in the Sutphen family and cant wait to run Tsunami in some big water!!:D:D

Chalk one more up for the NE! Dennis and Rob, if ya ever get the withdrawls, you know where to head:D
sold your Glad? were'nt you looking for a... cat if I recall right?
Nice buy! Congratulations! Not to change the topic, but what's with the alledged shortening of the rear of the boat from all other 34's?? Dave911

One great looking and running Supthen. Dennis and Rob Bradley from Burlington, Ontario, Canada were the first Canadian Offshore Race Team to Win an APBA Offshore World Champions and with a Supthen in the old B-Class. The Pride of Canada. Bob if Dennis and Rob can't make it, I'll be glad to take their place.
AB, Dennis and Rob were a class act and represented Canada and Sutphen well! There are Sutphens up and down I-95 in the NE. If you are ever passing thru in the summer and are up for a ride, put a word on this site and it would be our pleasure. We have good water that's for sure:D
Ken, Dan, Glad to see you guy's got her. Can't wait to see it run. Let me know if you guy's are gonna run her next weekend.
Congrates Morgan |
Bob, thanks for the invite you are a class act yourself.

congrats...
Maybe next summer we could have new england sutphen meet / run.!
for everyone within proximity. Wicked cool boat! good luck with it! |
I remember that boat in Factory 2 back when I was a APBA Tech Inspector. It always ran great. I remeber when it got hit in Ft. Myers and the chine and gunwale got ripped out of it and they still kept racing. It was full speed right to the cranes.
Thanks guys!! We know the boat has been in a few minor incidents, but thats racing and everytime it went right back to Sutphen and repaired like new.
Thanks for all the complements guys. We had a lot of fun with Tsunami. Hope you enjoy it, it was and still is a great boat.
Rob Bradley |
Woah, how'd you go from looking for a Cat to buying a Sutphen? Very nice boat by the way. Good boat for those rough days in the sound.

Saw the boat headed North in New Jersey this morning. Was wondering where it was headed.
Congrats Dan...one sweet ride there.
I was down in MD as well on Saturday. I was looking at a Fountain. This Sutphen looks like a sweet ride. Hopefully I'll get to see it run in LI Sound next summer.
Tsunami
Good Luck, Also hope to see you out on the Sound !!
Thanks!! We'll def be out in the Sound next year. Do you run Inferno alot??
Sweet ride.
Sutphens are a blast to run & a handful to drive. Enjoy it. LS |
We had a 26 before or a couple of years, but nothing big. It was a blast though. JR said you'll bring Great Adventure up to Jacksonville next year if we bring Tsunami.
I'm in.
Sutphens really belong in the ocean, but the Jacksonville run is a great event. LS |
I know, thats the only problem. Its flat water! But there are no other poker runs in Florida during the end of May and beginning of June except Jacksonville and Daytona.
Daytona is an ocean run.
