RED 309 AT RICHIE`s SR SHOP

The Red Boat Is A Complete Hull And Deck Set Up With Stringers For A Twins. I Am Sure If A Customer Wanted To Install A Single, The Boat Could Be Rerigged. That Boat With A Pair Of Ls Engines/brovo Drives Should Be In The Low To Mid 80's With A Pair Of 400 Hp Engines. Balance Should Be Incredible. After A Season Of Running The Boat, bolt On A Pair Of Whipples And Hold On.

whipples you mean hair dryers!

LOl

Come on we need the young market looking at sutphens.

every young kid with a subaru, honda, etc wants a turbo and an intercooler. If they see boats built with them they will go toward the boats that have them.

They also have DADDY'S MONEY.

How bout a pair of GN turbocharged 6 poppers in that hull?

TOASTY 07-05-2010 02:14 PM

Call the factory or Jim Goodrich and they will be happy to quote u a price. I believe they are only quoting a rigged hull and deck just minus power and drives.

30 Red Sutphen W/ Gn Turbo Engines

Jeff, Why Don't We Install A Pair Of 800 Hp Honda 4cly Turbo Engines. We Could Fit The Trailer With A Set Of 22 Inch Tires W/ Foose Wheels. I Am Sure That We Could Attract The ' Drifting ' Crowd.
Good Luck With The New Boat. It Looks Great,

If The Red Boat Were To Be Sold This Month , I Believe It Would Be A 2011 Model. The Numbers Go On The Boat When It Is Sold.

Peter's Boat Is Almost Done. We Are Running Out Of Time. We Have To Be On The Road By July 13. We Hope To Make Both Races In Mich. We Should Be Competitive With The Engine We Have. In The P-6 Class The Boat Must Accelerate From 40 To 70 In About 4.5 Sec. We Should Have The Engine To Do It. Wazzup ,in P-6 Has A Supercat Lite, dry Sump Motor / 750 Hp. Should Be Interesting. We Have To Fire The Engine And Do The Set-up Work.
Peter Is Assembling An Imco 1.35 Lower Unit For My 31. With This Lower Unit With A Labed 24 At 6000 Rpm The Boat Ran 92 Mph. Won't Be Able To Play With My Boat Until After The Race.

Thats a sweet Idea.LOL

except hondas at 800 HP only make about 36 Ft lbs of torque.::eek:

The foose 22 inch wheels would be great though you could go boating in the hood anytime you wanted with no problem.

I guess thats a set up for the guys on the hudson river.:lolhit:
