He takes the seat cushions up to his house with him at night so he can sleep on them. That way the dust doesn't get a chance to settle on them. :evilb:

Some pics from today...

The interior is by no means perfect. It is however in good shape. There is a half inch tear in the back of the drivers side bolster by the grab handle. Looks like someone might have hit it with a ring or something. Also, to complete the updating of the boat i wanted to redo the cabin doors in aluminum or that plastic marine lumber. They are still in teak and to me that really dates the boat.

A closer look at the cabin. i never replace the door to the bow because I was waiting on getting the marine lumber to do both it and the cabin doors. Not a real major project, just never got to it.

I need to go bigger next time around. The 26 is the best all around hull outthere though.

Especially in this economy being so inexpensive to run but being able to do most of what the bigger boats can do and stillenjoy the perks of the smaller boats.

for me to jump out of a 26 thats newer (2003) fresh watr cooled, fully updated etc to another 26 just cuz i love the boat doesnt seem like a great idea for me, no real forward motion, if i didnt buy my boat this winter, 100% i would dive on this thing. if it was a 30 or 33 for the right price, i would be very tempted even with this crap economy.

yea, mines a 26 with 220 hours when i got it. its already sitting at 250, but stupid me left the key on last weekend for a good 4 hours. lol

if this boat was this price last year i would have bought it. the price last year with shipping just put me over the endge and no way for me to get financing on a boat that old, and i didnt have that coin once insurance, shipping, and stupid mass sales tax rapped me. lol

ive passed this boat on to a few people i know, to bad it wasnt this price 5 weeks ago, my buddy picked up a 29 power quest 1990 all original, this would have been a way better boat for him
