Sutphen 20 Pics (who can post for me???)
#1
Drove down Sat. and met Rich Jr. and saw the boat. I am pursuing the matter further and hope to trial the boat. With only looking at it and sitting in it, my impression of it was that it's an "old school" pure speedboat. No stereo, no cupholders and almost no cleats. (cleats are easy to install) And no BS! The cockpit was a little small, but the seats were very snug. I did sit in an OL 20 that day as well and they are definitely 2 different machines. The OL seemed better suited for hanging out, day activities etc... The Sutphen seemed like it was a "get in, shut the 'F' up and hold on!!!" boat. I really liked it! We'll see how things shape up. Have to switch out for an aluminum trailer, however I don't want to have to spring for one out of pocket.
Morgan: was not allowed to take pics of the 21 he's rigging. I can tell you that it's painted, flooring is in along with footrests, the gimbal/transom assembly is in and the motor was sitting in its box next to the boat. I really like what he's doing with the interiors as I saw the outboard boat. Wish I could afford one of those!
I cannot post attachments. I can send someone pics through email though. Can anyone post for me please?
Thanks.
