BBC in a 26 would only run 50s?
That doesnt sound right to me?
My 26 with twin 200's ran in the high 70's
christians with twin 350's runs high 60's I would think with the weight savings and the BBC torque youd have to see low 60's with that set up. No ?

When I bought my 26 in 1996 I had Richie install a 454-330 / Bravo. The boat ran 63MPH. I built a 500 HP 502 and installed it, 76 MPH. Ran it for a year with this setup. The following year , I installed a 250 blower, approx 700 HP, 91 MPH. After a few years, 800 HP, closing in on 100 MPH. The boat handled like it was on rails. The boat will be back on the water next year with 800HP or more.
