Bravos are pretty reliable if built correctly, that's why we praise peter noppers work up here! My 33 sutphen has bravos with about 650 h.p. Per side, boat runs low 90s. Changed shift plates , that's the only thing in 4 years!

Pete Nopper modified my Brovo 1 five years ago [MAX MACHINE upper,IMCO LOWER]. Knock on wood, haven't had a failure yet. The engine is a 572 with a 1071 blower pushing a 30 foot boat at 6000 rpm. This past year , during the annual check ,a bearing was changed on the vertical shaft. He has kept many Northeast boaters with modified engines and Brovo drives on the water.

We run a lot in a place called BUZZARDS BAY. Run there and you can anyplace. The name says it all. Being a fellow Sutphen owner you are always welcome to come here and ride with one of us.
