For the sutphen guys if you wanna know why that boat was running that way it was because the lowers on OB 's tend to get hot if you surface them and they will push out the oil and seals, then the suck in water when they cool So I was artifically running them low in the water( hydraulic bracket) to keep them cool. It made the boat a bear to run in flat water and it needed tab to keep it from acting stupid with all that drag.
Its a known problem with mercury sport master for about 15+ years now.

Jeff's not kidding. This is my wife's preferred firearm for hunting in the south. Mine is the MG34. Cotton mouths dont have a chance when their in the sights of this bad boy.

Problem is solved this year (HOPEFULLY) with some vent kits to let the pressure out of the power units and oil back in rather than water.
