I have owned her for years now, I bought her sans engines and speedmasters.(engines were worn out 1 is in a 67'mustang arrgh!! 377c.i.d. sbcs) have been gathering parts since. going to be powered w/bbc 454's stroked to 496 w/gentry twin turbos(have) and hp bravos(have) core engines need $$ but are ls7's. was making good progress untill the economy took a dump. now just happy to keep everything intact!! the hull and wood are still in great condition. still has(and always will as long as I own her) the race deck insert and engine hatch W/ scoops! and while black is not the best color for arizona (w/original lettering) will also stay.

I bought her without the 377 chevys my previous boss put one in his 67 shelby clone. (freshened and supercharged)I am a mustang guy so I really don't care for his car at all!! for what it cost to freshen and supercharge the chevy he could of had a 427 side oiler and really had something!!

Lots of great video of that boat from back in the day.
Super fast boat & Tony Garcia was super nuts, ran the boat on the edge all the time. Sutphens are a handful to drive.
We raced in the production class with them for years, great guys from the left coast.
