A little more than just moving the transom on this one. Ritchie redesigned some things on this one.

Glad to see someone got her and is enjoying her, Keep her nice as she is an awesome boat.

Very Cool, can you share how the plates below the transom assemblys work? Very interesting set up

Sorry for not responding to your question…I was hoping MSGANGWAY or whiplash22 would give the most accurate answer. I believe it was designed for adjustable hook or rocker. When I purchased it from fatherb68, he said “it is dialed in go run it!”

Here are a few old photos of TKO, some from 2010 (on the street) while racing in St. Clair, 2021 at the launch and in the water and one from just the other day.

It is with mixed emotions, that I accepted an offer to sell TKO. I’ve wanted to own a Sutphen ever since I was a teenager, when my dad and I had the pleasure of meeting Ritchie and getting a tour of his shop back in the mid/late 80’s. I just never imagined that I would have the privilege of owning one of the Baddest Sutphen’s ever built! But the best part is I got to do it with my dad at my side (he is the reason I got hooked on offshore powerboats in the first place).

I expect you will see TKO out at some Poker Runs and on the water, more frequently. It will still be maintained by the outstanding crew at Kustom Marine.

BWS,

Looks like a (rocker plate).
I seen several versions of them, normally on a Catamaran and usually with an external HYD cylinder to add rocker.

I learned more about TKO today and they are fixed position... Set it & forget it !!

Thank you for sharing all the pics too... truely a Bad Boy
