Bob,

Are you the original owner?.....it's a wonderful "old skool" boat!..........love the dock setup, especially the canopy!

I am second owner. Original lived up in Brick and kept inside at a marina up on Barnegate Bay. Kurt's Marine used to maintain the boat. I bought the boat in 98. All original gel coat. I ran the boat up on the Chesapeak till 2008 then moved to FL.

Until recently Bandit performance marine occupied the building formally known as Kurt's marine, but I believe they moved last year.
What about the present day motors & drives?.......are they a re-power or same as you acquired back in '98?.........Thanks, Scippy

Scippy, bought boat without power and had #4's. Bought two Merc Class1 race motors which are tall deck bow tie blocks. Thy had one race on them. We ran those basic motors for a couple years and KE finally talked me into blowers with Canfield large port heads back in 2005. Then added new crower cranks, has Carillo 6.535 rods with the pin oilers, CP pistons, all kinds of other stuff on the motors. Trannys are Huber 1150's. Drives are #5's with the bigger Merc gears, put on back in 2004 or 05, put in rebuilt transom assy's a couple years ago. Boat needs nothing. We are doing the run to Sarasota this weekend. Boat loves the Gulf water! Motors have been on closed cooling since we put them together so the salt hasn't taken it's toll.

Bob.......Take some video this weekend, I'd love to hear and see it. (if you can ofcourse) I was going to ask if you had CC....we know what salt
can do.
What type of pump gas do the motors run on?....................I'd love to come down and see it in April.

I'll ask one of the guys to shoot some video of us running. Normally I run 93 but I just change the top pulley on the blower and I can run 91 or 90. Come on down in April.
