Thoughts on scoop? Just a mock up right now but thinking about glassing it on the hatch. Gives me an extra 7" in case I can ever afford a blower.

Why do you have the tabs going straight back instead of with the angle of the hull ? i have never seen that before ??

whats with straight tabs?? why not with angle of hull

[ATTACH=CONFIG]535675[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]535676[/ATTACH]A little progress. Slow but steady. By mounting the tabs that way I am hoping that they will help stabilize the boat at higher speeds. They are flat so that they give less input or slower input at high speeds. We will see if it works. Just trial and error at this point

If it doesn't work the way I hope I will just take them off and put them on the old fashioned way. I've seen several race boats rigged this way, mostly single engines, and some fountains and OLs have tabs flat as well.

I hope all works well and those are some big ass tabs.Probably won t have to put them down much to see .
