Oh if that boat could talk. Several old salty dogs of the sport have worked on that boat.

Looks like nothing was done to it since it left the powerquest building. That's just what it looked like. In fact the first few pics look they are from when it was still parked in the SE corner of the PQ building.

Can someone explain what makes a sutphen so good? I have no experience with them but people seem to speak very highly about them

Build quality and deadrise if I had to guess. I believe they are 26degree deadrise. That equals a smooth ride.

Varieing dead rise, 26 at the transom, think it flares out to 22

The current owner also won the bid for the motors that fred at trick had built in the first auction. That poor boat has been around the block many times on a trailer. was a triple boat (if I remember right ) when built. use to sit at American offshore in Lauderdale. Also, no ballast tanks that I remember just 4 saddle tanks in bilge, no tank under cockpit floor( replaced part of floor by cabin entry)

I am going to try looking at this boat on monday...taking Glass dave with me anything special we should look for.
