I am close to taking the trip down to Texas from NY for this 34 outrageous, does anyone know the boat or have first hand expirence of it?
I have spoken with the owner and marina guy and they assured me this is very clean and no surprises. Boat was used for ~6 years on Galviston Bay then moved to take Travis for the past 15 years. Boat has sat a lot used only 3-5x a year, I plan on having a leak down test done while I am down there as well as water test, anything else I should look for? Thanks

I felt pretty confident about everything the owner told me, but I found this post from 2006
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...w-sutphen.html
The owner said he owned it for ~15 years and the boat has only been for sale past 2 yrs. he did not recall it being for sale in 06. I also know he put in new gauges and I'm wondering if the hr meters got a "reset" with the new gauges

That was your Facebook post, thank you for letting me high jack it. Yes I spoke to both of them they both spoke very highly of the boat. The boat was supposed to surveyed yesterday but owner is still out of town and they were not able to get access to it. They can get to it sat am. This weekend my brother and I are both free to drive but would leave on Friday and hopefully arrive sat. Free weekends are getting few and far between for the two of us. I may be acting a little OCD on this.

I have a mechanic checking it out for me tomorrow and giving it all a nice once over. If all goes well I will be leaving on weds. If you drive by and have free time would you mind putting a set of eyes on it? The more people checking it out I love multiple opinion .
