Just bought this 26 from a friend of mine. totally redone and rigged with 225 HO Johnsons. Definitly unique with the paint and the 20" Johnsons. Also converted to a sit down from bolsters. Let me know what you think. Looking to do a few upgrades over the winter with a new bracket to get rid of the tubular Gills.Also looking to add IMCO steering.Its a blast to drive and runs pretty good. Any advise from the pros or veteran 26 Rum Runner owners would be good. Just figured out I can't post pictures, maybe someone could help with that.

26 with Johnson Outboards - looks like it rides very nicely with that setup.

Mine is that basic set up with the Gill brackets for now. Has a pair of 225 HO carb motors.Runs pretty good for some OMC 's, Haha . Whats yours look like? got any pics?

Congrats on the new ride. I remember when that boat was posted for sale. You could also call Richie Sutphen Jr. as a person who know these boats. He probably helped build and rig the one you just bought. Good luck!

I talked to him a couple of weeks ago. My boat is not the one on the brochure, it was listed here for sale awhile back. I was trying to post some pics , but can't. I will post some when the site enables them. A friend of mine rebuilt the boat top to bottom. Thanks
