Default Building the Ultimate Sutphen 21 SSX

Anyone see this article in the November issue of Wave to Wave?
https://www.wavetowave.com/home/2017...sutphen-21-ssx
95 first shot out without even doing a custom labed prop. I wonder what this has in it for a final # after some tweaking. Great job Rich. Congratulations to the new owner, lots of luck, she’s beautiful.

Hey Jeremy, I'll never forget the day we took you and Gretta for your first ride in one. What a fun day. Hope to see you guys on the trails this winter.

Thanks for sharing, looks amazing in silver. I bet it's a 100 mph boat. Article says it's built a little heavier, 2 batteries but I know a 525 powered one went 94. Either way, that's really good.

I think they both have over 100 with some dial in. Can't tell you how many times I have thought of taking my 22 Velocity apart and put my 300X on one of these. Would love to see what that could do dialed in.

Even with a small block these hulls really rip.

Yes they do. Nice article you wrote and love your on line magazine. Question, why don’t you make your classified classics link to the site that they are for sale on?

Thanks,
Jim

Thanks Jim, I appreciate that. There are a couple reasons we don't, one is there can be a bunch of dead links when those ads go down. Another is I am careful to not fully endorse a boat for sale as I can't actually inspect it, a direct link maybe a sign of endorsing it in some way.

If anyone has any article suggestions or wants to submit a restoration project, we are always looking, email me at [email protected]
