Sutphil/ the 26, like all Sutphens has excellent lift above 70. Actually in that boat at 85 or so on smooth water basically only the last 8 or 10" of the keel is all that your riding on and the boat kinda trys to fall off which sets up a chine walk that you had to drive through. In rougher water it wasn't a problem. Great boat!

Thanks for the pictutres of the 26. I love the big cockpit on the ob model. They are such great looking boats!

Oh and just one question. What configurations do they come in? Twin O?B, Twin SB I/O, and single BB I/O?

Love those 26's. I'm always hunting around the internet for pictures of 26's. I guess I should have just asked.

Sutphil, Is that your Sutphen? Nice!!!!:D

Sutphil, 26 looks really nice! With the Io's it must have a nice ride in the rough stuff. Where do you boat?
|
Most of the time we boat in western Lake Ontario in this boat. It can get quite rough so that is why I would like a better ride, can you say 30 footer.
If you search back far enough in this section, Stillcrazy posted some pictures of it the day it left the factory in 1987. That's what is great about OSO! |
