Default There Goes The Neighbourhood

In another thread, Too Old is referring to having just bought the 39 Sutphen. So much for our sleepy little owners forum.
Welcome aboard Too Old, you finally made the big times.

Hey Too old!!

Welcome aboard man! Is the boat the 39' with no power...the Outrageous? If so, good choice as thats my final goal from my 30' Oceanpacer to a 38' or 39' model. I just picked up my motors and gears, drives are getting the royal treatment so they'll be done this week, and carbs and other details are being taken care of or are all set so by this weekend I'll be running and mayhap even FLOATING!!!! I look forward to seeing that baby of yours going along so nicely as do these little SUTPHEN boats!!! To any and all going to the Beverly run next month...hopefully I'll be probelm free and buzzing along at a decent clip by then, so BRING IT ON!!!!!! (I know Bills laughing cause he knows he'd spank me if he was floating!)

Old terminology used to be 200 Super Pacer, 260 Rum Runner, 300 Ocean Pacer, 330 Outrageous, 380 Dominator and a 380 Elegante. Now I think they just reference them as a 2600, 3200, 3500 and 4000.

Too old/
4 might be a little faster than a 6, but sure won't take the hp or abuse. Your stagger package is the ticket! That has to be a kick butt rough water setup with the 6!

Question Just curious

Hey Fred,,,

Did you by chance talk about current projects that are coming out of the Sutphen shop?

Would love to see the cover of Powerboat magazine next Spring say, "Show down! New 38 Sutphen, Apache, Cigarette, PowerPlay, Fountain; Go Head to Head!"
