I got the trim in throttle too, but it works good.
I got the high-end (Gafrig?) shifter throttle combo built into the driver's seat. I think the whole custom interior with L-shape lounge (modeled after Donzi 16), cost me around $1,200 (plus the $450 shifter). Worth every penny!

For your outboard, I'd think about a foot throttle with drive trim on the wheel...then swap your current throttle/trim control for a simple anodized shifter mechanism with forward and reverse. Hands on the wheel at all times, and a responsive foot throttle, should be awesome for boat control.

Coming to CT in July (I'll keep you posted)...Looking forward to a ride on the CT river!

Sweet set up / can I go that route if I chose for the outboard? July sounds good !

You could do either with the outboard. It'd be a lot cheaper and easier to go with the foot throttle than to try and build a box to fit the seperate throttle and shifter. Good luck!

Yeah, I would have loved to buy your 30 footer, but I need to be regularly trailerable with an F150. Which setup are you leaning toward for your throttle / shifter?

My 30 was a deal / guy near me just picked up a 30 with Kammas with a blown Tranny, 19K
I like the way your throttle set up is, not sure I would like the foot peddle. My boat looks like she will be ready in a couple of weeks can't wait
