WHAT....I can't PM you Julie

30 Bravos, I need to ask about cost to alter those if I buy them......I could use a labbed (or just thinned leading edge) 31P set. Labbed 30's spun 5,500 in 95 degree flat water this summer and I'd like to bring that down just a tad. (these were borrowed props)

I am not sure why you can't PM me.....I check it out. Anyway if you need a 31P then you need to start with a set of 32P props. But you would be better off running a stock set of 30P props as labbing is very specific as the shop that performed the labbing and the hull they were labbed for.

What does "kilo finished" mean?

throttleup 12-11-2008 10:02 AM

Thinner than labbed....sometimes referred to as a double lab.

...it also usually means that they are only good for one or two "kilo runs" before they crack ----- that is, unless you're talking about Throttle-up propellers.... which, in my experience do not/ have not.

...less porous metal, just as thin = longevity.

Way to go guys (and girl!!!!! ).

Man you are not kidding we have been commissioned for a set or more of those in the past!

This prop is not a potato chip..but certainly can be if someone wants it to be.

Joe how are the props running?

Well.... they're not potato chips, but I am certainily hooked ---- and couldn't stop myself from just having one even if I tried! LOL. I can't believe more people aren't running them yet.

The Skater is AMAZING! As usual with you guys, the CG is perfect and it flies great. We hit an oil tanker wake/swells just above 125 MPH. It flew perfectly and upon each re-entry it accellerated spot-on, getting the boat right where it needed to be for the next one. I believe we launched 5-6 times before we were thru them all. And at 125 MPH, that's a BUNCH of waves!

I love the "graduated" prop (not sure of exact terminology). Being 39's near the hub REALLY gives me awesome bottom end accelleration, with the graduation up to the 41 pitch as it nears the tip REALLY REALLY gets it to 150+ quick, whereas the standard 41 Hering that JT and I ran on the boat felt more like a paddle wheel with significantly less get-up-and-go. Not to mention they were already nicked up..... (thanks again Joey P. for letting me run your Herings!)
